Why and how is data collected?
Data collected by Codenames Discord Activity (“we”, “us”, “the product”, “the activity”) and any related applications is solely to provide the services. Data may be collected when using any service with the Codenames Discord Activity branding or on Domains including but not limited to:

What data do we collect and how?
When using the activtiy in a voice call via the defined entry points, we process data, that is recieved by Discord via the API / Game SDK. It is stored temporary in the RAM of the machine, that is running the activiry.
Information including, but not limited to your IP address, country, user agent and the page you are visiting, may be collected by us or third-parties such as Cloudflare or Sentry when using any web-facing services we provide. Any of this information stored by us is stored temporarily in logs (cleared every few days).
We are not storing any personal data permanently.
How will we use your data?
The information received and processed is used in accordance with this privacy policy. We collect and process your data in the following ways:
- Provide you with the servuces you are using, when the data is received
- Monitor your compliance with any related terms for internal and external services (e.g. Discord)
- Find and fix any issues or vulnerabilities in a service provided by us
How do we process your data?
We securely process your data on servers located in Nuremberg and Falkenstein. All of those locations are in Germany. Your data will never leave these locations and will never leave the EU. As for third-party services, we cannot guarantee where the data is stored. Therefore we are unable to guarantee data will not be processed and / or stored in certain locations.
